GENTLEMEN OF THE DAY
The Beatles were some of the classiest musicians of their time. They were well-dressed, well-versed, and well-respected worldwide. To top all of that, it was their lyrics that impress me the most. The majority of popular artists today sing about committing lewd and licentious acts on women, while all The Beatles ever wanted to do was hold her hand. Kudos.
Confidence
This is one of a gentleman’s greatest assets. A confident mindset will get you much further in life. On the topic of females, remember this simple fact: One of, if not THE, most attractive feature women find in any man is confidence. If you like a girl, tell her. Don’t ever be afraid of what might go wrong. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
Now, this topic of confidence leads me to my next tip.
Humility
There is a quote by R. W. Emerson that I like to live my life by. It goes something along the lines of:
“Every man I meet is my superior in some way. And in that, I learn of him.”
Never forget that you are human. You have faults and imperfections just as any other. There is a simple way to avoid cockiness:
Be Modest.
I am going to try and post some periodic tips for guys on life, love, and leisure. Just my thoughts on how to stay classy and genuine.
I don’t believe in this saying. Have patience, for no man gets the girl of his dreams with ease. The best and classiest of women are never easy. Don’t ever be discouraged and stay true to yourself. I will never be the asshole she wants, but always the Gentleman she deserves.
One phrase I don’t like hearing is “Bros before hoes”. As a man I understand the camaraderie between guys, but I have always drawn the line when it comes to respect for a woman. I prefer something along the lines of “Well-respected woman before Bros”. I wish more men felt the same way.

A genuine and sincere smile is the most beautiful of all features.

If a style doesn’t work with you, or it seems like you can’t really seem to get it, you aren’t working hard and consistently enough. Point blank. If you like a style, but aren’t getting it, that just means you need to keep pushing. “I just can’t _____” is never a valid excuse.
This applies to everything in life. Not just dancing.
“Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something. You want something, Go get it. Period.”
- Will Smith in Pursuit of Happyness
Now tell me why you can’t be successful. I dare you.
He who says he can and he who says he can’t are both right.
I was hoping that finishing my Mitsu interview would relieve some stress. It seems as if all other factors have kicked it up a notch to pick up the slack. I need to step my game up. Somehow.
Barney Stinson. Patrick Jane. Neal Caffrey. You, sirs, are all Scholars and Gentlemen. Kudos to you.
